'why i should get a new username' by chelsey.

"When I was 9 years old, I had a crush on Lance Bass from the boy band *NSYNC. As a preteen, I lusted over my future husband. Really, it was that bad.

So, I decided to make the life-altering decision of making my first AOL screen name "chelseylance" (Chelsey being my first name...)

Why did I decide to make my LJ username Chelseylance? Quite frankly, I have no idea. Probably because every other username in the history of my online life has had something to do with Lance Bass.

Why should I get a rename? First of all, Lance will never be into me, since I have female anatomy. Secondly, I'm not 9 anymore. Thirdly, everyone thinks my last name is Lance.

Please, LJ, I'm begging you! Let me change my embarassing username!!"

random stuff and one LJNTM outtake that i never posted

Carly [my photographer for photoshoots 1 and 2] gave me a CD with every picture we took for those 2 challenges. I found some good ones on there! I have more but it takes forever for the CD to load and the pictures to upload on photobucket.

I just wanted to share one picture that I really am proud of and would have submitted if I had this CD beforehand :)

My birthday is on Wednesday! I leave for NYC in a week and I am so, so so so so excited.

Here is Mark, showing you where I am going!

I get to see my boyfriend Mark, finally. It's been like 4 months since I've seen him in person and that is way too long.

I get a laptop for my birthday, too. It's going to be a year old dell I think, which is better than anything I could have bought on my own.

Soooooo. The only thing that sucks is that I have midterms this week and my Bio midterm is on my birthday. No worries, though. I'm doing [way too] well in school this year.

i never update anymore!

Well, I shoot my LJNTM pictures on Monday. That's the only day I can get to a Church [besides sunday, but according to my family, that would be 'sinful against the sabbath.]' Damn Christians.

Since this is the first photoshoot where I can actually do some editing [except for the first where I didn't want to do any editing, and the historical shoot where PS wasn't working for Mr. Mark] I want to do some cool stuff. I think I know what my "story" is going to be. Not sharing it, though :P

I really think my camera isn't the reason why my pictures come out blurry... I took some really cool pictures and they came out 100% HQ and clear. I think it's just my mom, she wiggles the camera and when I asked if she wanted me to get my awesome mini tripod, she seemed insulted. *sigh* Women.

Sorry that I haven't had too many LJNTM ottakes lately, I've been uploading less and less pictures because my poor computer is dying a slow death and it can't handle the camera software for a long period of time.

I can't WAIT to go to New York. I go from October 28th to November 2nd. I am sooo excited because I get to see Mark, finally. When we finally see each other on the 28th, we would have been apart 4 months until then. One more month to go...

We're going to do so many fun things, like go to Madame Tusaudddssdfk [can't spell.] I've been dying to go there. And, we're going on some of those awesome studio tours. Plus, I love musems so I'm forcing Mark to go with me. :o)

project runway outtakes

These are just outtakes of the photoshoot, aka pictures that I liked but I didn't end up using.

In case anyone is interested, here is what I did to re-do the dress [which was my mom's prom dress in the 1970s]:

-Cut off all of the pink netting
-Raised the hem of the dress 4+ inches [it was hot glued together, since I don't have an actual sewing machine yet. It would have taken awhile to sew the whole thing]
-Made the black middle part out of the jammies I wore in the caffeine picture from Personal Demons
-Took the old pink netting, changed it a little bit and made it into a shawl

I think that's everything that I did. There may have been more, but it's literally 5:43 am and I'm tired. [School in 25 minutes, woo!]
